Nature Journaling Materials |
Nature journaling opens up the world of nature to the child of all ages. Keeping a Nature Journal provides a variety of ideas and insights on nature journaling. Filled with beautiful illustrations, this excellent resource offers tips for documenting what you see, pointers on sketching and water coloring, suggestions for keeping accurate records, ideas for teaching nature journaling to a group, and much more (see our review on the Curriculum Review page). Nature journaling suggestions are scheduled throughout all of the units. You will need to purchase a Nature Journal or just a simple sketch pad. Also, you may wish to purchase a variety of field guides to identify the geological features you come across. |
